Two-factor authenticatie
Secure your access better
A two factor authentication (2FA) is an authentication method that requires you to successfully complete two steps to gain access to something.
Only this combination allows you to gain access. With the Google Authenticator app, for example, you can secure your contract management application with two factor authentication. In addition to the standard security with username and password, you also have to enter a number of digits that the Authenticator displays on your smartphone, for example.
- The first step is usually entering a username and password.
- The second step is much broader in scope, such as an iris scanner or text message code.
